For starters, watch the OP clip below, They did a very good job with the 3DCG’s. More info HERE.
This series revolves around Tadayasu Sawaki, a first year college student that can see and interact with microbes. Together with his good friend Kei Yuki, they both enrolled into Tokyo’s Agricultural University.
Yuki, Sawaki
Both of them reports to Professor Keizo Itsuki, an acquaintance of Sawaki’s family who knows of his ability. Joining them later is Haruka Hasegawa, a postgraduate student that remains in campus to avoid her arranged wedding planned by her wealthy family. She’s has a violent character and wears skimpy, bondage-style clothing. She met Professor Itsuki at one of her parents party. Next is another first year student, Hazuki Oikawa – a hygiene freak. Joining later is Aoi Mutou, the Miss Agriculture title holder at the university. She’s an assistant to Itsuki and Hasegawa and the president of the UFO club (watch the anime why she formed the UFO club
). The final chick is Hirooka Aya, a 3rd year student working part-time at a nearby bar.
Later 2 senior students, Kaoru Misato and Takuma Kawahama tried to use Sawaki’s ability to gain fast cash by using the microbes.
Misato, Kawahama
Mostly all of the events in the story are focused in the campus or University grounds. There’s the 7th Annual Spring Festival that you can watch in episode 7 and 8 and its really funny. I dont know wether the events during the festival do exist in the real life or not, but you can see it for yourself. Other events are their normal daily activities between the 7 of them. Later, I think around episode 6 or 7, Yuki disappears totally from the group. (Keep on reading below to find out why).
The 7th Annual Spring Festival ghoul caretakers
To me, Moyashimon can be categorised a new brand of anime with something original in their storyline. So, for those out there who seeks for something new to watch, try this one. Story is pretty straightforward, they did a good job in animating the 4 pretty chicks. The only comment that I would like to point out here is the consistency of the story towards the end, looks like they’re trying to wrap-up this series quickly (weird 11 episodes). Misato and Kawahama finally found a part-time job, Sawaki lost his strange ability and the most unexpected one, Yuki crosplayed into a gothic lolita chick.
The original Yuki
The NEW Yuki
I truely enjoyed this anime very much, recommended with a ratings of 8/10
Other notes :
Some new yucky food stuff that you will stumble across
The KIVIAK – a Canadian fermented meal where sea gulls are stuffed into a dead seal and left in the ground. Enjoy the food by sucking out the seagull’s fluid through their bowels.
YUCKY RATINGS : I would prefer to go to hell rather than doing that
The HONGEOHOE – a Korean fermented Skate Fish Sashimi
YUCKY RATINGS : I would try that if its cooked
The MENMA – fermented Chinese Bamboo Shoots
YUCKY RATINGS : Looks okay to me
The SURSTROMMING – Sweden’s most smelliest can food
YUCKY RATINGS :No thank you
My favourite part of this series – During the festival, Professor Itsuki opened a booth selling aphrodisiac items for men as a weapon to obtain sexual pleasures from the opposite sex.
Later Oikawa and Mutou tried them out, believing that all of them are uneffective.
And see what happens afterwards
ecchi! ecchi! ecchi!

And one niece image for your wallpaper collection

And dont skip the ending part of this anime. Wait till the ending theme finishes and they will present a mini microbe theatre in every series, kind like introducing you all to the microbes and bacterias available, how they process the food and etc. Lately a short clip titled Moyashimon – Microbe Theatre Deluxe 1 was released and it is also an educational one.
ENJOY
