Firstly, I would like to add 2 major facts that I’ve forgotten to mention in my episode 5 review.

Stein took over Sid Sensei’s role as Maka and Black Star’s homeroom teacher
Death the Kid together with the Thompson Sisters enrolled into Shibusen as students

Soul Eater episode 6 is one of the funny ones that I really enjoy watching where Black Star became Soul’s Meister.

Maka’s response

Their mission, skip Stein’s class and have a duel with Death the Kid. Soul and Black Star was pissed because Death was more popular and stands out more compared to the both of them. This whole episode is full with battle scenes between Black Star, Soul and Death the Kid. Death recognises Black Star as a worthy opponent as Black Star managed to fight with Stein and meanwhile Black Star realises how powerful Death is as he defeated the great Anubis before. Other than battle scenes, you can see the three of them clowning around, making funny faces thorough the fight that I loved the most. Fight started when Black Star broke a part of Shibusen’s building that angered Death as the structure’s symmetry is not balanced anymore. Battle scenes below.

The fight lasts until a level where Death the Kid used his main weapon or his Soul Resonance known as the Death Cannon.

The fallen ones

Although Black Star and Soul lost the fight, they actually won the battle in the end. Why? During the fight, Soul’s blade manage to chip of some of Death’s hair. When this happens, Death lost his symmetrical balance and collapsed.

My favourite scene from this episode. Watch them for yourself, they are damn funny.

Other notes :

So far, they only mention about the Thompson Sister’s origin, where they were raised and lived in the streets before meeting Death the Kid. Most probably, we can see Tsubaki’s in episode 11 (where she battles her own brother). No news yet for Soul’s though.
